Intensive Outpatient Treatment – A group that meets usually 3-4 times per week for two or more consecutive hours per day. Service is provided to those who do not require the intensive level care of inpatient, residential, or day treatment serves, but require more intensive service than outpatient services.It emphasizes counseling and treatment more than just education and provides more “structure than just outpatient treatment”. It is for people with Substance dependence who are otherwise not able to live independently. The program is designed to expose the client to a higher level of self-awareness and those interpersonal skills needed for every human relationship.Through the aided discovery of assessments, reading assignments, learning exercises, group interaction, and dialogue with the group faciliator (QSAP), individuals will develop a better understanding of additions and the recovery process.Criteria:
Reflections provides individuals with educational tools, recognizing the need to develop their own emotional, social, intellectual environment and self-awareness goals to expand their sense of purpose and meaning in their life while they work through recovery and abstinence.
- Must meet the DSM diagnostic criteria for Axis I Substance Use Disorder.
- Abuse Disorder with the exception of nicotine or caffeine abuse or dependence.
- American Society of Addiction Medicine (ASAM) criteria will be used to determine the appropriate level of treatment.
- Co-occuring Mental Health and Substance use disorders, integrated treatment for both disorders is allowed within the program.
